ANG KWENTO NAMIN

Ang Erasto R. Batongmalaque Foundation ay itinatag noong Hulyo 26, 1995, ng kanyang panganay na anak na si Louie Batongmalaque. Nais niyang pagbutihin ang kalidad ng buhay ng mga hindi pinahirapan na may sapat na gulang na indibidwal, partikular ang mga nagsilbi sa isang pandaigdigang giyera. Partikular niyang target ang mga Amerikanong Amerikanong WWII Beterano at asawa.

He, along with his sister Dr. Jenny L. Batongmalaque, worked diligently to see the Foundation grow in Carson, California. The goal was to have programs for all-inclusive care of the elderly in place so that the delivery of care can be centralized and avoid fragmentation, which can be expensive and wasteful.

Unfortunately, Louie passed away on June 6, 2000, from cancer. This brought a halt to the Foundation projects in Carson. Later, their mother passed away on April 18, 2002, from illness and old age. These events brought the rest of the family to be part of the Foundation. And so, the Foundation is still growing for the legacy of its founder, its motivator, and its inspiration.
